Horses

Veterinary Surgeons Barry Hitchcock, Simon Clarke and Richard Pettitt have a combined experience of over seventy years of general horse practice.

We offer a service of routine procedures such as pre-purchase examinations, vaccinations, worming advice, colt castrations under general anaesthetic and scanning mares for pregnancy and ovulation.

We treat simple cases of lameness, colic and illness. We use a portable x-ray machine for the diagnosis of laminitis and fractures.

We have no equine hospitalisation facilities so send more complicated cases to specialist centres, usually in Newmarket.

For more information on our services please contact us at one of the surgeries on our home page under 'Our Practice'.
