This is a small animal centre with four consulting rooms, two operating theatres, recovery wards and an x-ray machine. It also has a laboratory with equipment capable of analysing blood biochemistry and haematology. Here we can also do urinalysis and microscopy on other tissues. This branch is an approved training centre for veterinary nurses, and our nurses hold their own clinics for consultations on such problems as obesity and flea infestations. A Pet Health Counsellor is available by appointment to discuss general health care of your pet. A certificate holder in small animal dermatology visits the practice once a month to offer a referral service for the more complicated skin problems. The practice also has a link with an animal behaviourist for animals with antisocial problems.
As with the other branches of the practice we regularly refer our more difficult cases to one of many specialists.
Partner: Guy M Lown, B Vet.Med., MRCVS.
